Eagley Cricket Club AGM was held in the clubhouse on Tuesday 7th Feb. The meeting was well attended and was very positive and forward looking. Several club members were voted on to the committee and a number of them were then elected as officers. Details later. Several people were elected as life members. They were Messrs Geoff Cleworth, Miles Blake, Greg Salt, David Seddon and Tommy Hughes.
The club president, Mr T Hughes presented our outgoing Secretary/Treasurer Mr G Cleworth with an engraved cut glass decanter in appreciation of the fine work he has carried out for the club over many years. It is Geoff and his wife Elaine's intention to remain on the committee and still play some part in the clubs future development, which is excellent news.
We are happy to welcome new signings for the coming season : Paul Rayment, Alex Rodzock and Mark Howarth.
